In those brief two hours, the police found no less than 19 motorists speeding in the construction zone. Each of them was driving at more than 114 km/h instead of the allowed 70 km/h, leading to an immediate withdrawal of their driver’s license.
Definitely a successful morning for the police, but above all a strong reminder to anyone in a hurry that it is safer to stick to the speed limit. Not only did they namely lose their license, but were also issued fines.
