Emergency services12 people injured in five accidents across Luxembourg

A string of road accidents across Luxembourg kept emergency services busy on Thursday evening and into early Friday morning, leaving multiple people injured.

The Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS) responded to a series of accidents on Thursday evening and into early Friday morning, involving multiple collisions and injuries across Luxembourg.

The first incident occurred at around 5.09pm on Rue de Longwy in Rodange, where one person was injured after two vehicles collided. Almost at the same time, another driver was injured on the CR176 between Rodange and Roudenhaff after their car struck a tree.

Shortly afterward, at around 5.46pm, a collision between two vehicles on the CR141 between Mompach and Osweiler left four people injured. Emergency teams from Echternach, Mompach, Rosport, Mertert, Junglinster, and an ambulance from Luxembourg City were despatched to the scene.

Later in the evening, at 8.15pm, another accident was reported on the CR160 between Zoufftgen and Dudelange. The collision involved two vehicles and resulted in five injuries. Two ambulances from Luxembourg City, along with paramedics from Bettembourg, Dudelange, Schifflange, and Sanem-Differdange, responded to the incident.

In the early hours of Friday morning, at 2.46am, a single-vehicle crash in Gaichel left one person injured.
