SubaruElectric initiative

Three new BEVs, meaning fully electric models, are set to arrive at Subaru in the near future. The first step is the facelift of what has so far been the brand’s only electric model.

With help from Toyota

Subaru’s twin to the bZ4X is called the Solterra and, just like its Toyota counterpart, is receiving a facelift. Power increases to a decidedly sporty 252 kW, allowing the all-wheel-drive electric model to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.1 seconds. At the same time, a larger battery boosts the electric range to over 500 km. Naturally, this is accompanied by the usual updates inside and out.
