ToyotaA flurry of new arrivals

Toyota has plenty of new features lined up for Autofestival 2026.

Now doubly represented in the EV segment

For a long time, Toyota held back on fully electric cars until the launch of the bZ4X, developed together with Subaru. As part of its regular facelift, Toyota’s electric model is now offered with two different battery options, allowing for a maximum range of up to 569 km. At the same time, the suspension, interior and exterior design have all been revised.
A completely new model for the festival is the Urban Cruiser. As Toyota’s second fully electric model, the small SUV launches with two battery options of 49 and 61 kWh. Its dedicated electric platform provides a flexible interior with plenty of space, as well as the latest infotainment system.

All about crossovers

The Corolla Cross was also due for a minor refresh. A new GR Sport trim, a revised mode for the electronic all-wheel-drive system and reduced interior noise are among the key updates, alongside refreshed styling. Also carrying a cross – or rather an X – in its name is the new Aygo X Hybrid. Even more unusual is its hybrid drivetrain, as the Aygo is the only model in its class to offer such a system. The engine, familiar from the Yaris, produces 116 hp and emits just 86 g of CO₂. The occasion also brings a sportier look and the addition of a GR Sport trim to the range.

Petrolheads, take note

Toyota continues to nurture its love for cars that deliver driving pleasure and emotion. One of the last of its kind receives another small update: the GR Supra Lightweight EVO promises even more sensation and connection with the road. To achieve this, the suspension has been revised, the body stiffened, larger brakes fitted for improved bite, and new carbon spoilers added to enhance aerodynamics.
