Granite Heart, a chicken from Vermont (US), was born with just one functioning leg. That didn't stop her from fighting off a weasel, which led to her owner rewarding her with a custom wheelchair.

Granite and another chicken were attacked by a weasel, but Granite manager to fight it off. This apparently inspired her owner to let Granite 'live her best life', which would include walking. The owner contacted a company called Walkin' Pets, who specialise in wheelchairs for dogs - this was their first chicken customer.
