Stop it, please! This guy keeps smiling at people he doesn't know

We're not talking about the supermarket cashier he sees twice a week, the cleaning lady at his gym, or the dentist who tried to sell him €35,000 of cosmetic dental work. No, we mean absolute strangers. 
 
Mate, honestly?

Take Monday morning, for instance. Mondays are the worst. Naturally, the weather was crap and pretty much everyone had a sniffle and digestive issues. This guy walks up to a bus stop and smiles at everyone.

Freak much, bro?

It's no surprise that one woman changed her mind and called a taxi instead. It’s no surprise that one guy returned home, armed himself with a rolled up wet dish towel, and returned to the bus stop. It’s no surprise that another passenger chronicled the incident on Instagram.

"When you want to enjoy the grey misery […] and this guy shows up and is all smiles," she posted, along with a photo of the guy who might be Luxembourg’s Most Socially Oblivious Man.

Dude, do you really think it’s cool what you're doing?

And that was just one morning at the bus stop. According to hundreds of people, this guy does this sort of smiling thing, like, all the time.

"He does this sort of smiling thing, like, all the time," says his officemate Anastasia, who ate lunch with the incurable smiler a few times before annoyance and shame persuaded her to stop. "One time, he even looked at a table of people in suits sitting next to us – and smiled."

"They ignored him and went back to talking about 'The Voice Belgique,'" she added.

It gets worse. Last week, he smiled at a woman giving parking tickets. Another time, he smiled at a family walking – across the street. And yet another time, this guy smiled at a stray cat.

A stray cat, man? Are you for real? Even cats know how it works here. So do house pets like gerbils and iguanas. Even house plants, man, know that you don’t smile at people you don’t know. Plants!

Someone get this guy to a doctor! He needs to be fixed.
