Rather spectacular scenes unfolded on place Émile Bockstael in north-west Brussels last Friday around 7pm. For reasons as yet unknown, a young driver lost control over his car and plunged into a fountain.
The image was taken by our colleagues at RTL.be. Police Bruxelles/Ixelles clarified that nobody was injured and that the driver “did not seem to be under the influence.”
The car was still in its watery abode on Saturday afternoon. The young man only recently got his driver’s license.
