During the closing stage of the Tour de France in Paris on Sunday, cyclists followed a road usually covered by a speed camera.

It seemed the speed camera hadn’t been turned off ahead of the event and managed to catch the peloton’s caravan following the cyclists.

The 21st and final stage of the Tour de France went along avenue Denfert-Rochereau, which has a speed camera due to the 50 km/h limit.

However, the many vehicles following behind cyclists needed to naturally keep pace and the speed camera, as seen in the below video, flashed around a dozen cars.

The drivers will fortunately not need to pay the fines, as the road was obviously and officially closed for the event.
