Animal lovers rejoice (especially if you’re looking for a four-legged companion)! A new mobile app from Lithuania inspired by dating app Tinder allows you to match with dogs in local shelters. No, the dogs sadly don’t have the option to swipe right or superlike you.
GetPet was launched last month and increasing numbers of users are signing up. “It is like Tinder, but with dogs,” said Vaidas Gecevicius, who is one of the creators of the app. He added: “You can arrange a meeting with the dog — a date.”
