In an arguably rather ill-conceived (if well worth it for those of us fortunate enough not to take part), some of the radio team decided to celebrate hitting 1 year of RTL Today Radio by recreating the most questionable moment of the last year: eating the world’s hottest chip.
This web editor took part in the first hot chip experiment, and I can tell you that it was without doubt one of - if not the least pleasurable experience of my life to date. I like a bit of chili, but these things are.. on another level.
Our favourite radio folk seemed to have forgotten just how awful it was the first time around though, and figured setting your mouth (throat, stomach, and beyond) on fire would be an excellent way to celebrate hitting 1 year, and announce the giveaway of an iPad to be won by one of our loyal listeners.
