The Luxembourg Golf Federation is organising the second edition of the National Golf Days, which will take place on Saturday, 9 May and Sunday, 10 May across five golf courses located in the Grand Duchy.
During this fun and discovery-focused weekend, participating golf clubs will open their doors to everyone, offering free beginner sessions, entertainment, and access to their facilities.
The golf clubs participating are Golf de Clervaux, Golf de Luxembourg, Kikoura Country Club, Petite Suisse Country Club, and Lux Gold Center. This wide variety of golf courses allows anyone from any part of the country to participate.
The National Golf Days aim to introduce golf to a wide audience of all ages and skill levels, including people who have never visited a golf club before, where one can learn and experience the general rules of the sport led by professional players and mentors in a relaxed but engaging and fun atmosphere.
The programme is engaging and multi-faceted, and, most importantly, completely free. Throughout the weekend, activities will include regular introductory game try outs, guided tours of the golf courses led by guides trained by Luxembourg's Nature Parks, tastings, friendly competitions open to players, and much more.
A large raffle will also be organised during the event, giving participants the chance to win a variety of prizes, including golf lessons for several people.
It is recommended to register for some events in advance, as they are likely to be full. This can be done here.
Overall, this is a perfect opportunity to discover and start playing the sport with friends or family!
