On Sunday evening, Vicky Krieps received with Colman Domingo and Spike Lee one of the festival's main awards.

At the International Film Festival in Toronto, the Luxembourgish actress Vicky Krieps received the “Tribute award” on Sunday evening.

It’s one of the festival’s key awards and in the past it was awarded to Brendan Fraser, Benedict Cumberbatch, Anthony Hopkins, Kate Winslet and Meryl Streep.

Colman Domingo received the male counterpart of the award, and Spike Lee was awarded best director.

Cameron Bailey the festival’s CEO praised Vicky’s passion for acting and her ability to authentically act out diverse roles. It makes her one of the big ones of in the realm of cinema.

The actress plays in lead role the new movie “The Dead Don’t Hurt”, which premiered at the Toronto Film Festival.
