Quita may only have been born in January 2019, but this young feline has already travelled to many a place. Quita, an office cat for Penrose Care, an ethical homecare organisation, is training to be a therapy cat who will provide therapy sessions to the elderly and people with disabilities.
However, Quita is still in training given her young age and her training mainly consists of practicing in public and in venues that have invited her to visit. In the meantime, Quita has been on adventures to Edinburgh, Paris, and beyond and is a regular at London’s Regent and Marylebone Parks. Quita’s adventure trips are designed to help her build confidence and already it appears that the kitten thrives on being outgoing.
According to the Penrose Care website, Quita has already provided therapy sessions to two people with cerebral palsy. Quita’s owner Bob Padron, a careworker for Penrose Care, curates the beloved kitten’s Instagram account, which has a following of more than 5,000.
