Shirley Manson and the gang are back in the Grand Duchy for the first time since 2016, bringing their electric grunge meets alternative-rock to, well, Rockhal.

It’s been a minute since Garbage rotated through Luxembourg and while the band’s latest release was in 2022 (an ‘Anthology’ of their greatest works) they’re currently in the midst of working on their 8th studio album. So, no, you would not be paranoid to think they might just be showcasing some new material on the big stage in Esch.

Famous for their heavy but wistful electronica-meets-rock sound, the band first broke out in 1994-1995 with singles ‘Only Happy When it Rains’ and ‘Stupid Girl’ before catapulting into stratospheric fame (alongside a very young Leonardo DiCaprio) with '#1 Crush’ from the soundtrack of Baz Lurhmann’s 1997 film Romeo + Juliet.

Tickets go on sale Friday 8 March at 10am on Rockhal’s website.

A little birdie also told us that early ticket access is available to those who, well, push it on the subscribe button to Rockhal’s newsletter. As the nineties kids would say, “Well, duh?”
