Hëllef fir d'Natur takes you on a walk through Luxembourg's opulent woodlands!

Founded in 1982, the non-profit organisation Fondation Hëllef fir d’Natur has been devoted to preserving over 1,500 hectares of nature reserves across the Grand Duchy and the greater region. Collaborating together with farmers, volunteers and special institutions they have been managing and restoring the natural environment, as well as spreading awareness for the preservation of nature.

Celebration their 40 year anniversary, this new series focuses on 40 natural reserves, each introducing their rich biodiversity and rare biotopes, inhabited by creatures small and tall.

From grasslands, ponds, to wetlands and valley bottoms, viewers have the possibility to discover the most picturesque flora and fauna that Luxembourg has to offer. Episodes are released every Wednesday on RTL Play!

The newest episode will focus on a place called Schujansbësch, the “largest continuous forest area” of the Hëllef fir d’Natur Foundation, located north of Lieler, in the north of Luxembourg. Immerse yourself in the leafy paradise of oaks, willows, sycamore maples and many more! With a bit of luck, you might come across the black stork who often visits the areas in search of food.
