Mixed martial artist and boxer Conor McGregor has been caught on video earlier this year punching a man for refusing to drink the stars whiskey.
He was reportedly offering patrons of the Marble Arch Pub a shot of his bottle of whiskey when one man refused, appearing to be uninterested. While there appeared to be no words exchanged, McGregor suddenly punched the man, who appeared to be nonplussed after being assaulted.
Two men reported to have been with McGregor removed him from the premises and an investigation was launched in April, with detectives quizzing the fighter about the event. It is unclear whether the investigation is ongoing, but McGregor has not yet been charged.
This is not the first time McGregor has made headlines for aggressive behaviour, having had to go to court after hurling a trolley at a bus and injuring several, including other fighters Michael Chiesa and Ray Borg. Ultimately, McGregor avoided jail time by agreeing to community service.
