Queensland snake catcher Bryan Robinson posted the picture on Facebook after he was called to a home in Brisbane to remove a large carpet python hiding in the backyard.
Robinson stressed that residents in Australia should try to keep their garden well-maintained to give snakes fewer spots to hibernate.
“Any suburban environment in south-east Queensland is suitable for snakes, for a range of different species, especially carpet pythons,” the veteran snake catcher explained.
