Melissa welcomed artist and painter JKB Fletcher on The Home Stretch to talk about his upcoming exhibitions.
Originally from England, Jonathan found his way to Australia and finally to the Grand Duchy, where he has remained for the last 9 years. When asked about living here, he spoke highly of the country and how it is very open and welcoming to people who want to make art their profession.
Jonathan’s medium is paint and despite specialising in large-format landscapes, he told Melissa that he prefers to work in a studio controlled environment, rather than paint outdoors.
Jonathan has been working closely with the Nosbaum Reding gallery here in Luxembourg since 2019 and will have more work on display in the first quarter of 2024.
Not only is Jonathan an established artist, he is also a fitness coach, leading workout classes several times a week at Uplay Martial Arts Luxembourg.
What started as a simple way to supplement his income, has turned into an RSK programme, where he works with athletes to improve their overall athleticism, flexibility and fitness.
