Just last week den Atelier's marketing folk sent out an invite to a special press conference outlining what the esteemed venue has in store to close out 2024 and start 2025 with a bang!
Look, we'd wager about 62.76% of our job at Today Radio is refreshing agendas and scouring emails for new date additions and band show announcements. So excuse us for a second if we happen to be a wee bit excited about what Luxembourg-based music promoter den Atelier have revealed today.
With a summer season already in the rear view mirror featuring The Smashing Pumpkins (Interpol), Snow Patrol, Scorpions Extreme AND of course Superdrive, Calvin Harris and Sam Smith, 2025 has a lot to live up to ...
Big names coming to the Grand-Duchy
Today Radio's Stephen 'Steps' Lowe was in attendance in Hollerich, hoping for a big surprise.

The first confirmed act? None other than Sting on 1 July, who is pencilled in to play ... LuxExpo. Of course! Where else? Tickets for the show can be purchased for pre-sale on 24 September at 9am.
Luxembourg hometown drummer Chris Maas will be playing with Sting on the tour, 'Sting 3.0'. And if you'd like to know a bit more about this wunderkind turned world traveller, we have a bit of a profile here. He also kindly tuned-in to speak to the conference, from a bleary-eyed 3:30am in Canada. Thanks Chris!
With 50 sold out shows in 2024, den Atelier took a moment to reflect on successes like Absolut Bartreng and Usina. They're most proud when looking back on the path to bring Les Misérables to Luxembourg -- a show which is still upcoming, for 11 October.
den Atelier also confirmed that children's events have not been forgotten! With Peppa Pig, Janosch, and Fireman Sam, will perform at another den Atelier partner favourite: Op der Schmelz.
LuxExpo Open Air will not just showcase Sting ... we've also just got news of Martin Garrix on 4 July. And what do we have here? None other than the man responsible for bringing sexy back: Justin Timberlake will also play LuxExpo, on 8 July.
You can also expect techno marching band Meute at Abbaye on 5 July. Toot toot!
Have the soldes come early? No, it's just pre-sales!
den A's given us a roundup of the pre-sales and general sale dates to keep an eye on this week:
23 September: Mamma Mia!, Peppa Pig, Fireman Sam, and Janosh the Musical
24 September: Pre-sale Justin Timberlake at 11am
25 September: Pre-sale Sting at 9am; general for Justin Timberlake at 11am
26 Sept3ember: General sale for Martin Garrix & Meute at 10am
27 September: General sale for Sting at 9am
This is a wrap for today's conference, but stay tuned for what den Atelier has planned this season: 2025 is the group's ‘30 years of madness’ anniversary and they must just be planning a BIG celebration ...
