Bazar celebrity and event VP Massimo Amato stopped by RTL Today Radio on Thursday morning.

Sam and Meredith welcomed Massimo Amato on The Sam Steen Show, to talk about the 2022 Edition of the Bazar International!

Massimo, who has been volunteering at the Bazar for 20 years and on the board for one year, has a wealth of knowledge about the event. It's clear that volunteering with the event has left him with a plethora of good memories.

"There are thousands of volunteers involved for this event so it offers the best place to meet up with friends."

Massimo had some great lines. He considers the Bazar International the 'Soul of Luxembourg' where you can 'Shop for a Cause' as there are 42 charities that will benefit from items sold.

Massimo explained the breakdown of charities: 13 in Africa, 8 in Asia, 5 in South America and 16 in Europe. The charities range from children's education to furthering adult education to health care. He mentioned that one of the charities is in Laos where they are training adults to be chefs.

Massimo also highlighted a healthcare charity based in South Sudan in a town of 300K people where three sisters and two professional doctors work around the clock, 7 days a week.

On a more local note, the VP announced the exciting addition of a kids corner, complete with a very special guest expected on Saturday!

If you want to learn more about the charities, how you can make friends through volunteering or just know what the trio got up to, make sure to listen to the complete interview here on RTL Play or via the player below!
