This Is The Kit is the project of Kate Stables, a marvellous human who beautifully weaves lyricism, vocals and feeling into whimsicall masterpieces. Ongoing - info & tickets

If the weather holds up as promised and it does not pour from the heavens, then why not get up-close and personal with some trees? Steinfort’s adventure park offers different trails depending on age and height, ranging from 4 to over-16s (those under the age of 4 do need to be accompanied by adult).

If you enjoy nature, some physical movement and heights, and want to do something slightly different with family or friends, this is a great option (especially since the Vianden adventure park is closed). Last start at 3pm and bookings need to be made by phone.

3. Swing back in time to the funfairs of yore

What: Funfair with a historical twist
Where: Kinnekswiss, 29 Avenue de la Porte-Neuve, L-2227 Luxembourg
When: 30.07.21 – 15.08.21 - info
While the Schueberfouer will not be taking place this year, there will be a fair, and there will be fun. This particular event is not your average funfair, however, as it actively reaches back in time to bring activities, performances, costumes and games from 1886 to 1960 into the present. There will be merry-go-rounds harking back to the 1880s, a ship swing from the 1920s, sweets reminiscent of the 1950s, and musicians and artists galore.
