The show kicks off with the candidates testing their spatial awareness – and delicate touch: they must use magnetic pieces to build a flat structure, and then try to raise it into the correct shape.
Whoever succeeds can pick a topic for the upcoming “showcase episode”. It’s first come, first served with a total of five themes to choose from.
We top off the episode with a colourful and nail-biting duel.
There are still seven candidates in the game, and things are getting quite exciting! This week brings drastic changes, and the show is now taking a very different shape. Who will reach the grand final and take home the €10,000 prize?

Take Off is a collaborative effort by the André Losch Foundation and the Luxembourg National Research Fund. Each episode challenges contestants with complex scientific tasks, and one participant is eliminated weekly. After 13 episodes, the winner will claim the grand prize of €10,000.
