We all know that we eat and drink with our eyes, too. Behind every beautiful cocktail lies a lot of very precise work. The teams must prepare a so-called “density cocktail” – a cocktail made up of seven different layers with different densities and colours. For this, they have glasses, wooden sticks, a special cocktail spoon, sugar, water, beakers, a scale, and of course food colouring. The team that is first to present seven clearly visible layers wins the first challenge.

For the main course, the contestants must develop a recipe that allows them to create the longest possible cheese strings from their cheese fondue. And anyone who has ever been in a kitchen knows that perfecting a recipe requires patience and, above all, many attempts. Whoever manages to pull the longest string within one hour moves on to the next round.
In the duel at the end of the show, two candidates must go head to head. Each one has the same cake on their table, and they must divide it between Lucie and Joseph. Naturally, the two want exactly the same amount of cake. The duelists are only allowed to use the knife twice. Tension will be high, as a mistake means automatic disqualification.
Take Off – Science Challenge Show airs every Friday at 7pm on TV, RTL Play, and takeoffshow.lu, with a second TV showing on Sunday, 11am.
