Place de l'Académie in Belval is the place to be this weekend if you're a lover of electronic dance music. The season opening kicks off on Friday and Saturday, with a forecast of blazing sunshine, including artists such as Australia's Cyril (known for a cover of the 1978 Chris Norman and Suzi Quatro tune Stumblin' In).

This year, organisers have implemented some new things to optimise the festival experience. Sebastien Jacquet told RTL the layout has been changed entirely, with a new main and second stage, allowing visitors to enjoy a new-look LOA even if it's not their first time at the festival.

Sebastien added that the festival will be family-friendly, as doors open at 1pm and entry is free for under-12s, although they must be accompanied by an adult.

Public transport is once again being touted as the best method of reaching the festival. Details can be found on mobilitéit.lu or in the FAQs on the official LOA site.

Sebastien added that he personally couldn't wait for "a brand new special effects show. I am so excited for people to experience this."

Tickets can be ordered on LOA.LU.
