Aimed at promoting music and performing arts, the event offers both novice and experienced musicians a platform to hone their skills under the guidance of professional musical coaches.
Luxicals is an international musical theatre group that was formed in 2021. The group’s most original asset is that they perform in Luxembourgish, German, French and English! Check out this short presentation video in Luxembourgish down below:
Last year’s workshop and concert were met with incredible success, inspiring them to bring it back this year with even more enthusiasm.
The workshop is designed to provide young talents with the opportunity to enhance their singing, acting, and creative skills. Over the course of three days, participants will collaborate on various performances, including solo and duet songs. All attendees are encouraged to prepare a song in advance for either a solo or duet performance.
Coaches Mathias Edenborn and Sabine Meyer, and professional pianist Philipp Polzin will not only offer constructive feedback on singing and performance but will also share insights from their professional careers. They’ll have a chance to prove themselves to the participants on the second night of the workshop (2 September) in a concert open to the public.
The organization is making efforts to include those with limited financial resources by partnering with the Fondation EME and KulturPass.
The workshop will culminate in a closing concert where participants can showcase their collaborative projects to family and friends. Last year’s closing concert drew an audience of over 50 people and received high praise, particularly for the quality of the performances.

This is an announcement to all musical theater enthusiasts: Head over to Forum Geesseknäppchen in Luxembourg City to see the magic come to life!
Tickets for the concert and the workshop can already be ordered via info.luxicals@gmail.com.
