The 27th edition kicks off from 9 to 11 August and will showcase a number of international and national music acts over three days, with OG Keemo and Markus Schulz as headliners.
As in previous years, the e-Lake festival will rely on its tried-and-tested mix of music, featuring genres such as electro, rock, pop, and even hip-hop.
On Friday, the focus is on hip-hop. The headliner is German rapper OG Keemo, who hit the top of the German album charts this year with his album "Fever". Rapper DCVDNS is also no stranger to German rap fans. Luxembourg's hip-hop scene will be represented by De Läb and de Brooze, among others.
Saturday offers twelve hours of electronic music: German-American DJ Markus Schulz will headline, and London-based DJ Ben Gold, one of the best-known trance acts, will be performing at the festival. Luxembourg is represented by the national act The Waztoo.
Last but not least, Sunday is dedicated to Luxembourgish music. Attendees can look forward to performances by Schëppe Siwen, Dëppegéisser, and Toxkäpp, as well as sets by DJs dr.gonZo and DJ Dee.
Various new food and drink stands will keep visitors satisfied and hydrated. With the 'cashless payment system' introduced two years ago, all financial transactions on the site can be carried out by card or mobile phone.
However, festival-goers will have to do without one tradition this year, as there will be no camping. As Jempi Hoffmann from the organising committee explained, it was decided not to offer camping this year for two reasons.
On the one hand, the demand for overnight stays on the site has fallen significantly since the COVID-19 pandemic, and on the other hand, the costs of running the campsite are enormous.
The festival is free and find the full line-up here.
