Ryvage’s rework of “Yesterday” (original track released by Them Lights in 2018) combines the essential elements of both producer’s worlds in a subtle and catchy tune.

Ryvage’s synth-driven electro-pop and electro tracks are spanning from 80s sci-fi movie soundtracks to industrial electro while Them Lights’ vocals and groovy soundscapes cover a wide range of genres from electronica and pop to R’n’B.

Speaking about his creative process, Ryvage says: “I only kept the vocals of the original track and wrote a whole new song around it. I didn’t follow a clear conceptual line but had a vague idea of where I wanted to go sonically. I really like this approach as it allows a very interesting combination between artistic freedom and constraint that I am looking for as a producer.”
