
Over 100 movies were shown over ten festival days, after which a shortlist of seven films and six documentaries was retained by the international jury.
In the end, Yuri Ancarani’s ‘Atlantide’ took the Grand Prix of the evening, while Panah Panahi’s ‘Hit the Road’ won both the critics and the audience award.
Tatiana Huezo’s ‘Prayers for the Stolen’ was also honoured by the critics. Best documentary went to ‘What Will Summer Bring’ by Ignacio Ceroi.
Palestinian director Elia Suleiman presided over the international jury of the LuxFilmFest 2022.
