The German Television Awards were created in 1999 by German television channels Das Erste, ZDF, RTL, and Sat1. The prestigious awards are handed out once a year.
The second season of Bad Banks was nominated for Best Drama Series, Best Actor (Barry Atsma), and Best Cinematography (Chau Ngo).
The winners will be announced after 15 June.
