Not all of the projects were accepted, the Film Fund’s selection committee announced after meeting for six sessions over the last week. In total, the selection committee decided to support 19 projects at a cost of nearly €10 million (€9,999,576). The financial selective support (AFS) will be paid out to help projects with their productions or the development of the projects at an earlier stage, which includes support for screenwriting.
The 19 projects include seven fictional long shots and three animation projects. Iris Productions’ L’enfant caché will be receiving funds of €3.1 million. The film will be shot in Luxembourg over 26 days in June and July.
