On Tuesday, the Academy Awards (Oscars) named the features that could be considered for nominations.
Among them, Luxembourgish animation feature “Icarus” (2022) by Luxembourgish director Carlo Vogele.
The movie “Corsage” a production between Austria, Germany, France and Luxembourg, starring celebrated Luxembourgish actress Vicky Krieps, is also featured in the preliminary round of voting for the International Feature category.
The Academy will chose 15 movies, which will be competing for an Oscar on 12 March 2023.
