The Bosnian movie "Quo Vadis, Aida?" by Jasmila Žbanić was awarded the Grand Prix.

On Saturday evening, the eleventh edition of the Luxembourgish Film Festival came to an end. Due to the pandemic, the entire event was organised with the help of a hybrid model that allowed people to both see the films in cinemas and online from home.

4,200 spectators went to the country’s movie theatres, while the films were also streamed around 20,000 times over that same period of time, according to preliminary estimations. The festival thus exceeded the expectations of the organisers.

The list of award winners was published on Saturday evening. Bosnian film „Quo Vadis, Aida?” received the Grand Prix, while the Swiss project “Nemesis” was declared best documentary. The Public’s Choice went to „The Wolves – Los Lobos”.
