The Philharmonie Luxembourg, in collaboration with the Cinémathèque de la Ville de Luxembourg, is set to bring a one-of-a-kind cinematic experience to the Grand Auditorium on 29 March 2024. The iconic 1982 film 'E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial', directed by Steven Spielberg, will be screened alongside a live performance of John Williams' unforgettable score by the Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra.
This special event promises to provide audiences with a nostalgic journey back to their childhoods while introducing the timeless tale to a new generation. The Academy Award–winning film, which has captured the hearts of audiences worldwide, delves into universal themes of empathy, friendship, and belonging through the heartwarming story of a young boy and his unlikely friendship with a lost alien.
