On Thursday morning, RTL Group published its audited results for the year 2021.
RTL Group reported a record profit of 1.5 billion euros last year, compared to a profit of 600 million in 2020. The outlook for 2022 would see the group's revenue increase by 5-6% to 7.4 billion euros, with a profit of 1.15 billion after tax.
The RTL Group comprises 67 television stations, 10 streaming platforms and 39 radio stations across Europe. The group's largest shareholder is Bertelsmann.
