The latest figures from the Ministry of Health show that 625 new cases of coronavirus were discovered yesterday.
Five new deaths from COVID-19 were also reported, bringing the total death toll in the Grand Duchy to 339.
11,237 tests were carried out in the last 24 hours. The positivity rate was 5.55%.
There are 160 patients in standard hospital care, a decrease of 9 from yesterday, and the number in intensive care has remained stable at 41.
As of Tuesday there were 8,734 active infections in Luxembourg. 27,356 people have recovered from the virus.
The effective reproduction rate was at 1.05, up from 1.04 yesterday.
