On Tuesday morning, a large tree fell on the road between Mersch and Angelsberg, nearly hitting the driver of a van.
The worker, who had just parked his van near a construction site on the other side of the road, was very lucky.
The tree fell and blocked the road. The road had to be closed to traffic to allow the tree to be cleared. The van was slightly damaged. The driver escaped without a scratch, but he was in shock.
