Virologist Li-Meng Yan recently claimed that Covid-19 was born in a laboratory in Wuhan city.
British media recently shared the testimony of Li-Meng Yan, a Chinese virologist who was still practising at the Hong Kong School of Public Health a few months ago. She has since fled her country and is said to have taken refuge in New York City before addressing media around the world.
The virologist recently appeared on the British TV show "Loose Women" and claimed that Covid-19 came from a laboratory in Wuhan. A laboratory that would be run by the Chinese government concealing everything that was happening there.
Li-Meng Yan says she has evidence to confirm that the virus was not transmitted from animals to humans and that it was created from scratch in this laboratory. She is currently working with a team of American scientists in hopes of publishing research that would confirm her accusations.
It is a testimony that could be the start of a global diplomatic crisis if it were true, but the statements of Li-Meng Yang are yet to be confirmed.
