Starting with Luxembourg
- The latest figures from Luxembourg show that 68 new cases of coronavirus were discovered over the last 24 hours. Hospitalisations are declining.
- Last week, 439 new Covid-19 infections were reported in Luxembourg, a decrease of 22% compared to the previous week, which had 566 new infections. Read the weekly report here.
Minister Lenert hopes that the EU will announce a joint strategy in terms of administering third vaccination doses. Despite the fact that other countries have already taken a decision in that regard, adding another shot to the process is currently no priority in Luxembourg, Lenert further stated.

- Almost two-thirds of Australia's 25 million people were in lockdown Thursday, as the country's faltering bid to bring a virulent Delta outbreak to heel prompted a new wave of restrictions.

- The UK government said late Wednesday it will ease English entry rules requiring arrivals from France to quarantine even if they are fully vaccinated, following its latest review of travel curbs.
- France's top constitutional authority on Thursday approved a Covid pass that limits access to cafes, restaurants and inter-city trains and planes to people who have been vaccinated or tested negative for the virus.
