Next week, Minister of Education Claude Meisch and Minister of Justice Sam Tanson will present a new draft bill concerned with juvenile justice to the Chamber of Deputies.

The document was initially expected to be completed last year.

On Wednesday, the government accepted the draft law, which will now introduce a minimum age where a person can be punished by law. Children's rights will also be fixed into the new constitutional text, as will the protection of minors.

Minister of Education Claude Meisch and Minister of Justice Sam Tanson are expected to present the draft bill in detail next week.
