The latest figures from the Ministry of Health show that 710 new cases of coronavirus were discovered yesterday.

The latest update records 4 deaths from COVID-19, bringing the total death toll in the Grand Duchy to 171.

10,835 tests were carried out in the last 24 hours. The positivity rate was 6.53%.

There are 195 (+21) patients in standard hospital care while the number in intensive care has increased by one to a total of 30.

As of Tuesday, there are 9,110 active infections in Luxembourg, while 11,063 people have recovered from the virus.

The effective reproduction rate is at 1.13.
