  • [block type="summary"]The latest figures from the Ministry of Health show that 36 new cases of coronavirus were discovered yesterday, of which 29 were residents. The death toll stays at 120.

    • The virus has impacted the number of applications received for the upcoming semester at the University of Luxembourg, most notably the ones coming from outside the European Union. 

    • Police were called out twice over the weekend following reports of parties in the early hours of the morning, dispersing one in Gasperich. A second party in Esch-sur-Alzette was not found to be violating any regulations.

    • Faced with the coronavirus collapse in travellers, Taiwanese airlines have begun offering sight-seeing "flights to nowhere" on their passenger jets. The new business model also includes flight attendant lessons for children.

    •  London's financial districts remain largely abandoned by workers still worried about the pandemic and reluctant to return to office life.

    • The United States on Sunday reached the extraordinary milestone of five million coronavirus cases as President Donald Trump was accused of flouting the constitution by unilaterally extending a virus relief package.
