Following recent criticism, SIGI has approved two internal audits and an external investigation into a number of issues.
After press reports of bullying, embezzlement and privacy concerns, the problems at SIGI (Intercommunal Syndicate for IT Management) were recently discussed in a parliamentary commission.
The syndicate now released a statement saying it will request a detailed analysis, as requested by a number of municipalities. One audit will investigate the social climate, another financial transparency. An external investigation has also been requested around how satisfied the municipalities are with the services they receive from SIGI.
A working group comprised of 3 members from the syndicate and 5 members of the committee will request the audits.
