Ahead of the upcoming Nations League fixtures, Luxembourg played a test match against FC Saarbrücken on Tuesday evening.

The game ended goal less, despite chances in the first half for the Red Lions from Sinani and Olivier Thill in a patchy first half.

Due to an injury, Vincent Thill had to leave the pitch as early as the 17th minute of play.

Shortly before half-time, Gerson Rodrigues was also injured and limped off to be replaced.

During the second half, the FLF team upped their game and could have secured a victory if either Muratovic or Bohnert had used their chances to score a goal.

Luxembourg will play Azerbaijan on Saturday 5 September and Montenegro on Tuesday 8 September.
