The Luxembourg Football Federation will not be assisting F91 Dudelange with costs for the new turf required at the Josy Barthel stadium.

The turf was relaid ahead of the Europa League clash again Apoel Nicosia last November, to the tune of €250,000.

F91 Dudelange asked the FLF, Luxembourg City municipal council, the Ministry of Sport and the municipality of Dudelange for financial assistance with the costs.

However, FLF president Paul Philipp told the Tageblatt that the Federation had nothing to do with it.

Luxembourg City paid out around 30% of the final cost.
