On the final day of the Skittles World Championship the Luxembourgish delegation got to take home one gold, three silver and four bronze medals.

In the Mixed Tandem category, the world champion team Mandy Parracho and Gilles Mores were unable to defend their title, so they finished in third place behind Germany and France.

In the ladies single final, Martine Keller made a good attempt, but she missed the bronze medal by one pin. In this category, the gold and silver medals went to Germany and broze to Brazil.

In the men's final, Gilles Mores was able to snatch a bronze medal, just like during the last championship. André Laukmann (Germany) became world champion for the fourth time in a row.

Even though the final day of the Championship wasn't the best for the Luxembourgish delegation, the competition overall did go quite well for them:

They won gold in the Mixed Team category with Chris Fuchs, Gilles Mores, Doris Melo and Mandy Parracho.

Additionally, members of the delegation also scored three silver and four bronze medals in a variety of categories.
