After establishing a new Luxembourgish record over 50 m crawl on Saturday, Meynen now beat her own record over 100 m crawl on Sunday.

Julie Meynen demonstrated her excellent performance at the Pro Swim Meetings in Clovis, USA. In the final for the 100m crawl, she finished in under 55 seconds for the very first time. Her finish time of 54 seconds and 63 hundredths of a second got her into third place.

It also constitutes a new Luxembourgish record, with an improvement of 46 hundredths of a second. The old record was set by Meynen herself in 2016 at the Olympics in Rio.
