So reads the club's official statement; "RC Luxembourg are delighted to announce the signing of Sam Warburton until the end of the season as player coach. Warburton, 30, had been forced to retire due to injuries but has been tempted to continue his playing career on a pay as you play contract. "I am really looking forward to helping the lads in their relegation battle in the Bundesliga first division" commented the former Blues and Wales Captain. "I don't expect to walk into the side as I know there are some smashing back row players at the club, I just feel humbled to be given this chance" RCL hope to name Warburton in the squad for their home match v RK Heusenstamm this coming Saturday the 6th of April.
