The 43-year-old athlete from Luxembourg didn't only win in his age bracket, but won the entire race - with a 17-minute lead!

The track was as demanding as you'd expect an Ironman race to be: 1.9km swimming, 90km on a bike, and a half marathon. Luxembourg athlete Godart completed the track in only 4 hours, 6 minutes and 6 seconds.

Italian athlete Davide Rosetti came second, Francisco Gabriel Nebot Martin from Spain came third. All in all, 672 athletes took part in the Sri Lankan Ironman.
