The Luxembourg athlete has a good start at the Swimming World in Cup Hangzhou, China, this week.

23-year-old military athlete Pit Brandenburger finished the 400 metre crawl race in 3 minutes, 46 seconds and 97 hundredths, improving his personal best time by almost three seconds.

He finished 25th out of 45 competitors.

Luxembourger Raphaël Stacchiotti also put in a great performance in the 200 metre medley. Clocking in at 1 minute, 56 seconds and 56 hundredths to reach the finish line.

Stacchiotti would have also beaten his personal best had he been one second faster.

The Luxembourger is currently at number 22 from a field of 43.

Both are very happy with their performances so far.
