Flybe was once the biggest regional airline in Europe with a fleet of 63 planes, before having to declare bankruptcy in March of 2020.

The collapse came right before the beginning of the first lockdown waves across Europe.

Grounded planes are in fact a major problem for airlines, since maintenance work has to be carried on and partially increased because the engines are no longer running on a regular basis.

A crisis for some, an opportunity for others, who are eager to invest into second-hand aircrafts.
